We’re looking for a Fullstack Developer at Billdu with a strong frontend background who is not afraid to step into the backend when needed. Your main responsibility will be to build a new frontend from scratch and lay down solid foundations. This is not about maintaining an existing UI. It is about setting up the project, defining the architecture, building components, establishing a design system, setting up the pipeline, and ensuring the quality of the entire frontend foundation. We need backend knowledge so that small issues do not become blockers and so you can deliver things end to end when necessary.

Job responsibilities:

• Building a new frontend application from the ground up (React/Next.js)

• Designing and implementing the frontend architecture, including project structure, conventions, and development standards

• Creating and maintaining reusable components and a core design system in line with Figma designs

• Setting up processes, CI/CD pipeline, and developer tooling (linting, formatting, testing, quality gates)

• Collaborating with Product and Design on the technical design of solutions, including proposing alternatives and explaining trade offs

• Providing ongoing support with backend tasks as needed to ensure smooth delivery and minimise blockers
