Billdu is a Slovak SaaS company with customers mainly in the US, UK, Australia, and Western Europe. We are a small, product focused team of 24 people based in Slovakia. We build a product that saves people time every day, and we want it to stay reliable even as development moves fast.

We now want to take QA to the next level. We have several mobile apps and are also building a new web platform, so we need automation that makes sense, has real impact, and is sustainable in the long run. We are looking for someone who will take ownership and set new standards.

What will you do?

• You will build and develop automated testing for both our mobile apps and the new web platform

• You will help define the automation strategy, including what to automate, in what order, and where it brings the most value

• You will establish the test structure and QA standards to ensure automation is stable and maintainable

• You will improve overall release confidence

• You will cover API testing and support end to end scenarios across the product

• You will work closely with developers and Product to improve testability and the release process

What do we need from you?

• You have hands on experience in QA automation and can independently design and build automated tests that are stable and sustainable in the long term

• You have experience with automated testing of both mobile and web applications

• You can also test the API layer and think about the product end to end

• You understand the fundamentals of good testing, know how to prioritise, and automate what truly brings value

• You are able to take ownership of your area and drive things from design to a working solution

• You can collaborate effectively with developers and the Product team so that quality is addressed continuously, not only at the end

• You communicate clearly, can identify risks, and propose practical solutions

• Technically, you should be familiar with some of the following: Appium, Cypress, Postman, or similar tools

It is a plus if you also have experience with:

Setting up and running tests in CI/CD
Building QA standards
Designing a test strategy for a growing product
Monitoring quality after release
